Gutter quality copper gutters are fabricated from 16 to 20 ounce copper. Copper is the most popular metal for k gutters along with aluminum. We stock copper in 16 oz 20 oz 32 oz and 48 oz. Typical sheet sizes are 36 x 120 and 48 x 120.

Copper s long life comes from its resistance to corrosion which deteriorates other metals. At the minimum you should choose 16 ounce copper gutters but depending on the weather and rainfall in your location 20 ounce copper may be a better choice. Lead coated copper is offered in 16 oz and 20 oz. 0 7 mm 0 8mm and 1 5 mm.

Copper coils are available in 11 75 for forming 5 k style gutters and 15 widths for forming 6 k style gutters in both 16 oz. Copper gutters typically last 60 to 100 years with proper maintenance this means that they might cost more initially but have the lowest lifespan cost of any gutter system.
