Here is an alternate method i like to use to break down sheets to pieces of a more manageable size. It also works well as a way to accurately cut plywood if you don t have a table saw. You also get 25 17 inch surface to rip full sheets and make accurate cuts. I set my shop boxes to a lower height and turned the i beams 90 degrees.

Moreover without the support you might not be able to maintain a steady feed rate. If you want to cut plywood with table saw then you need to choose it wisely. Check constantly while cutting those on a table saw. If your plywood is moving while you are cutting clamp it onto your saw horses where it won t be in the way of your cutting.

Cross cutting plywood sheets to desired length. Because these sheets tend to chip downwards and create an angled cut. Build support for the entire sheet. Additionally the skilsaw included an easy to adjust bevel that can be set anywhere 0 to 46 degrees and lock it.
